As the esteemed CommO for the Det, could you please burst out the following to our Det 4 Marines.

At our last Zoom meeting, we all agreed it would be good to check in again to make a go/no-go decision on the 12 Sept Det 4 Reunion Drill. I've set up another Zoom for the Det-ers for 10 am EDT on Thursday, July 16. The Zoom invitation and click-on link is below.
By way of update,
--Annapolis is reopening robustly and has a very low COVID-19 infection rate so far and is trending even lower.
--Navy football is still up in the air for 12 Sept. Lafayette, the scheduled opponent, backed out, but Navy is looking for a replacement game...possibly University of Virginia. Navy will be playing Notre Dame in Annapolis over Labor Day weekend (the week before our reunion).
--The hotel (Historic Inns of Annapolis) is still holding our reservation block and making new ones.
--Historic skipjack, Wilma Lee, has received her Coast Guard certificate and is taking bookings (I'm on the board, so we should have no problem getting a sail).
--The Naval Academy Yard, Museum and Visitors Center are all closed to the public for now. No word on reopening plans.
That's the good and the bad. Let's consider our options on the Zoom. . No need to reinstall the app. Make sure your computer microphone and camera are on and not muted. No haircut or facial hair inspections planned.

The Zoom instructions were sent by email. If you have lost the email I will be glad to send it again, and/or help anyone who has trouble getting on the call. You can also just call in on your phone - the phone numbers are on the email. You won't see our smiling faces and we won't see yours, but perhaps that is a good thing.
